Here’s What JustinGuitar Says About the Christmas Songbook

I’ve wanted to do a Christmas Songbook for ages because it seems like the holiday season is a great time for people to get together and make music: a wonderful experience to share! And it’s finally here, featuring 21 seasonal classics specially arranged for guitar!

The books unique structure divides the songs into four categories:

Play On The Day: these are the easiest songs, which most intermediate players should be able to simply open up and play on Christmas Day without much preparation. Beginner players might want to start looking at these a little in advance!
Learn In December: these songs are a bit harder, and might need a little more work, i.e., youll need to start learning the songs earlier in the month if you want to have them ready on Christmas Day.
Learn in November: you get the idea – these songs are more difficult, with more demanding chords and a few quirks that will need that bit more time to learn.
Chord Melody Arrangements in TAB: these are for more accomplished players who want to tackle playing chords and melody at the same time, fingerstyle.

All the songs feature full lyrics and chords, with a written lesson and playing advice. Chord boxes, strumming/fingerpicking patterns and sections of TAB are used as necessary to show specific detail. It’s my hope that, having studied the songs in the book, some of you intermediate players might want to go at making your own Xmas arrangements, so there’s a few pages of blank tab in the back of the book as well!

Many songs in the book are supported by a free-to-access video tutorials on JustinGuitar.com, so theres everything you need to learn the songs and develop your skills. This might just be the greatest Christmas songbook for guitar ever published!
