Worm-Eaten Alder
Aged for a minimum of 20 years the select rare cuts of Alder previously laced with woodworm is the secret to this basses impeccable tone. Taking inspiration from the use of tarred wood Bacci pushed the boundaries of guitar building even further by experimenting with woods previously deemed unsuitable. After 4 years of experimentation, research and development Bacci discovered that each of the worm-holes in fact acted as a sort of resonating chamber resulting in a lightweight instrument laced with unparalleled acoustic properties and overtones. Each hole is meticulously cleaned and cleared for maximum acoustic impact.
Bruno Bacci
Based in the heart of Tuscany Italy, Bruno Baccis genuine passion for lutherie, design and materials has quickly gained him a reputation of being one of the upcoming guitar builders. He believes that wood comes with a soul and it is the job of a luthier to be able to capture and interpret it. Blending tradition with modern innovation and design Bacci crafts instruments that feel and look like instant classics as well as instruments that inspire and bond with the player.
Michael League
Perhaps most known as founder, bandleader and bassist of instrumental jazz fusion supergroup Snarky Puppy, Michael League has grown from strength to strength earning himself a near-legendary reputation in regards to all things low-end and jazz fusion sounding. Bagging himself 5 Grammys for his work as an instrumentalist, producer, composer, arranger and record label owner there is not much he doesnt know about groove, sitting in the mix and exactly what instrument is needed for the job. His Bacci Signature Bass is a perfect reflection of this experience and attention to detail.
