Description
Behringer have expanded their vast synth lineup with the TORO, an authentic recreation of the highly sought-after ‘Taurus I’ bass synth produced between 1975-1981 and made popular by the likes of Rush, Genesis, Dream Theater and many more!
With its pure analog signal path, TORO is fitted with 2 VCOs, capable of a 5-octave range delivering ground-shaking basses to searing leads. Equipped with all the same classic parameter controls found on the historic model, TORO also pumps out the same iconic sounds but all with modern-day reliability and connectivity in a form-factor that fits within contemporary setups thanks to being desktop, rack-mount, and fully Eurorack compatible.
Faithful to the Original
Being able to deliver massive detuned sounds (thanks to its 2 VCOs) allows the TORO to instantly produce that earth-shaking rumble of the original. The TORO isn’t just great for getting great bass sounds. Thanks to its 5-octave range, you can also get some nice searing lead sounds!
Modulation
The TORO comes with 4 sound presets starting with the classic ‘TORO’, ‘Tuba’ and ‘Bass’ presets which have been carefully recreated to sound just like the original, as well as ‘Variable’ which gives you access to all controls so that you can shape and fine-tune your sound.
