About Mahalo
Mahalo was founded in 1999, interestingly enough in Nagoya, Japan. The vision for the company was to design proper ukuleles at an affordable price point. Musical instruments rather than toys. Since then Mahalo have gone on to become one of the biggest ukulele brands in the world and have done so by staying true to their vision of playable yet affordable instruments.
Rainbow Series
As the name suggests, the Rainbow series ukuleles are the bright and colourful entries into the Mahalo range. With a variety of colours, you can find the one that perfectly suits you or the person you’re buying for.
These ukes feature geared machine heads to help keep you in tune, Graph Tech NuBone XB bridge saddles for projection, and come fitted with Aquila Super Nylgut strings for a full, balanced sound.
Soprano Size
The soprano is the classic ukulele shape, it’s also the smallest of the main sizes. Anyone can play a soprano but it’s especially suited to smaller players such as children. They also have that classic, bright, ringing tone that you know and love.
