Dual Channel Overdrive
One design element that really separates this stompbox from other similar pedals at its price-pointis its 2-in-1 format. This means that youhave access to two overdrive flavours, providing excellent tonal variation.Channel A is a powerful and potent overdrive with plenty of mid-range, whilst Channel B hasa fatter and warmer quality.
So in context, the mid-focused sound of Channel A makes it ideal for playing solos or heavy riffswith, capable of cutting through mixes. Channel B is thereforemore suitable forsubtle lead moments, where you don’t need to be the loudest in the band but still need all of the sustain and response for a warm and musical tone.
Simple Setup
Some pedals that have two channels can beover-complicated, featuring multi-band EQ sections and more. However, the King Of Blues keeps it simple, withboth channels featuring 3 dedicated knobs – gain, volume and tone.
